The Chai Tea White Russian Recipe is just a little bit decadent! You’ve hung the Christmas lights, and finished your Christmas shopping, you’ve even written your list for Santa Claus… so, what’s next, you ask?
Now, we are going to issue a little bit of fair warning – this cocktail is not one that falls into the healthy category, but if you can’t spoil yourself a little bit at Christmas then what really is the point right?
We are using vodka infused with our Just Chai Me blend to give a sweet and modern twist on a classic creamy cocktail. We’re also using vanilla Tia Maria as our coffee liqueur because chai and vanilla are just made for each other to be honest.
Chai Tea White Russian
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons of Organic Black Chai Tea
- 230ml vodka
- 115ml coffee liqueur
- 8 tablespoons heavy cream
- Cinnamon for garnish
Method
Add the vodka and chai to a mason jar and steep for a minimum of two hours. Once the vodka has finished infusing, pour through a strainer to remove the leaves.
Next, add the chai infused vodka, coffee liqueur and about half the cream to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until cold and well combined.
Strain and pour over 4 glasses filled with ice. Then, top with more cream and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
